This chapter discusses how adolescent cognition changes from late childhood.  It is said that adolescents are egocentric.  For your original post, state why adolescents may be so egocentric (give at least two reasons) and why it changes as we get older.  Also, are adolescents today more egocentric than they used to be? Why? Why would it change historically?
