Read Chapter 7 in your textbook. Then, go to the following link to access Sex, Lies and Conversation; Why Is It So Hard for Men and Women to Talk to Each Other? by Deborah Tannen. Dr. Tannen, professor of linguistics at Georgetown University, is the author of “You Just Don’t Understand: Women and Men in Conversation”. Using terms and concepts from the textbook chapter, write a critical review of Tannen’s arguments.

- End your paper with a separate concluding paragraph that summarizes the main points of the paper and reaffirms the thesis statement.
